Manufacturing Process Development
New products in the marketplace are usually
produced using highly efficient, traditional manufacturing
processes that target a major market segment. Competitors
use those traditional processes to compete for that segment.
This heavy competition makes the untapped portion of the market
much more attractive. CRG is investing heavily in the development
of manufacturing concepts that offer out-of-the-box alternatives
to full-scale manufacturing. Additionally, CRG has the in-house
expertise to transition these concepts into highly efficient
manufacturing processes, including equipment design and development,
installation, and quality control and ISO 9000 qualification.
Prototype Design and Fabrication
From feasibility demonstrations to fully operational
results, CRG engineers possess the design and fabrication
skills to make it happen. We typically work closely with a
customer's expert staff to rapidly understand current trade-offs
and functional requirements for an application. This gives
our engineers the necessary in-depth perspective to make design
decisions and fabricate the right part more quickly. Effective
communication with the customer at the engineering level makes
our prototyping team efficient as well as responsive to the
needs of our customers. Once feasibility has been demonstrated,
follow-on programs involve pilot line manufacturing of prototypes,
which is necessary to investigate manufacturing feasibility.
