Community Service: STEM School Partnership

In 2009, CRG partnered with the Dayton regional Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) school which opened August 17, 2009. The Dayton Regional STEM school is one of eight such schools in Ohio. The STEM schools hope to increase the chance that students will succeed and ultimately help the state of Ohio and the Dayton region progress and grow. Dayton has been a nationally important charter school mecca for the past decade.

Some of the opportunities for CRG to get involved are with job shadowing, serving as project evaluators, tutoring, and making presentations. Community, business, education and government leaders know that Ohio is facing some economic and workforce development challenges and that the Dayton region needs to build and retain its talented young people.
