CRG Hosts 5th Technology Conference

On October 16, 2008, Cornerstone held its fifth annual Technology Conference, tag-lined "No Games, Just Results." By invitation only, this conference showcased research and development over a wide range of technology areas that impact government and industry. Customers, partners, and strategic allies witnessed presentations and demonstrations of Veriflex®, deployable isolation repair technology (DIRT™) bag, high-tech environmental sensors, shape memory fasteners, hovering automomous low-profile observer (HALO™) MAV, reflexive structures, morphing and passive-adaptive structures, emerging new materials such as light-activated shape memory polymers and advanced coatings, anti-tamper technologies and space-qualifiable material systems.

The annual conference is designed to exhibit the breadth and depth of CRG's experience and the diversity of its work. Dr. Patrick Hood, the company president, also outlined the company's future plan and vision, particularly in the areas of spin-off companies designed to bring emerging technologies to market.
