NASA Technology Takes off Commercially in the U.S.

Within two weeks of showing Rec'Repair™ at the OutdoorRetailer Summer trade show in Salt Lake City in August 2007, CRG Industries recently signed agreements with six U.S. sales representatives to sell the material. The technology behind this product was demonstrated under a Phase I NASA SBIR program.

Rec'Repair is a shape memory composite patch material activated through heat. This tough, formable patch easily repairs holes and damage to kayaks, canoes, tents, hiking poles, water coolers and more. To use it is as simple as warm, peel, mold and stick. Read more about Rec'Repair... (9-10-2007)
