CRG Spins off New Company

With the maturing of many of its materials technologies, CRG has spun off a new entity expressly for the production and processing of high-tech materials. CRG Industries, LLC will manufacture state-of-the-art materials licensed or created by Cornerstone's research. Among those materials aresyntactic foams (Verilyte™), syntactic microlaminates (Synlam™), shape memory polymers (Veriflex®), and shape memory composites (Veritex™).

The materials will have consumer, industrial and government uses, such as in composite repair, flat panel displays, architectural structures, and automotive components. The new company will create additional jobs locally, as well as promote technology advancement in the Dayton region. (6-1-2004)
