Employees Publish Article in Journal of Advanced Materials

The article entitled, “A Review — Features and Benefits of Shape Memory Polymers (SMPs),” by Ben Dietsch and Tat Tong was published in the April 2007 issue of the Journal of Advanced Materials, Vol. 39, No. 2. The article discusses how the momentum of development of shape memory polymers over the last two decades is reflected in the broad range and versatility discovered in SMP. Its unique characteristics offer applications for use in a myriad of fields, including clothing manufacturing, deployable space applications, morphing aircraft, and medical treatment and devices.
