SMP Patent Awarded As a Result of CRG Invention

A Shape Memory Polymer Styrene Copolymer patent was awarded on July 6, 2004 as a result of polymer research performed by one of CRG's chemists, Dr. Tat H. Tong. This shape memory polymer, which is a reaction product of styrene, a vinyl compound, a multifunctional crosslinking agent, and an initiator, has applications across all CRG business areas.
