Cornerstone Wins 2009 Sloan Award

CRG received a 2009 Alfred P. Sloan Award for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility. This prestigious award recognizes employers across the country that are successfully using flexibility to meet both business and employee goals. The award, offered in 30 communities nationwide, is based on criteria such as anonymous employee feedback. It also recognizes businesses that, for example, use flexible work arrangements to minimize layoffs and find creative ways to cut costs that retain core medical benefits.

The Alfred P. Sloan Awards for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility are part of When Work Works, a national project on workplace effectiveness and workplace flexibility from Families and Work Institute in partnership with The Institute for a Competitive Workforce, an affiliate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and the Twiga Foundation. The Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce will recognize the eight Dayton area winners at a formal banquet on November 18. (10-27-09)
