General Expectations We Have for All Our Employees

We expect our employees to be high-performing, innovative, responsible, contributing team players who don't let a road block or failure get in the way. Here are some behavioral expectations to be successful at CRG:

ResearcherTake Initiative
Take initiative to learn. Many things about CRG are new and different, and most of the answers cannot be found in a book or on the Internet. Actively learn about our corporate culture, technologies, and specific projects that are assigned to you by asking questions and reading.

Ask Questions
Actively ask questions. CRG is an active learning environment. Be assertive and speak up when you don’t know or don’t understand something.

Communicate
Proactively communicate and be responsive. Continuously communicate with project leader(s) and/or team members your ideas, successes, failures, and issues. Actively seek them out; don’t wait for them to come to you.

Don't Assume

Deliver high-quality products, data, results, and services on-time. Don’t assume; explicitly ask for expectations, quality, due dates (both internal and external), and hours allocated for a specific task.

Network and Build Relationships
Build relationships and network with other employees. For technical employees, network with other technical staff members to become part of upcoming projects and fund your future work. Technical employees are expected within three months of their start date to be able to build these relationships and find their own work without the assistance of their supervisors.

Get the Job Done Right
Act as a professional. Consciously think about what you are doing. Make informed decisions and anticipate/mitigate the impact of those decisions. Generate quality results. Do what it takes to get the job done right.

Talk with Your Supervisor
Communicate with your supervisor about your goals, frustrations, and what is important to you.

Contribute
Make a positive contribution to the company through a combination of know-how, technical research (if you are a researcher), servant leadership, and impeccable customer service.
