Doing Business With Us
 Intellectual Property
IP Strategy
Intellectual property management is a critical part to
enhancing our customers’ competitiveness. We have
developed a balance between creativity and detailed record
keeping: we nurture innovation and demand quality business
practices. This allows us to provide superior management
techniques that protect our customers’ IP.
The Foundation
IP management begins with laboratory notebooks, which are
maintained daily by all technical staff. Our researchers and
engineers receive training in how to record data according
to legal standards. Our in-house patent attorney and legal
department work one-on-one with our technical staff to
assist with IP collection and accurate record keeping. Lab
notebooks are audited through peer review, by our legal
team, and against individual timecards. These beginning
steps ensure that a customer’s research is secure. It also
provides the backbone for patent filings and future IP
portfolio development.
Sound Business Decisions
Organized IP management opens the door to diverse
possibilities and alleviates confusion. We can hand over
the IP to the customer for their own use, or the customer
can use our expertise to generate technical reports and
patents. Our senior staff has direct, proven, hands-on
experience with IP management and navigating the
cluttered IP landscape. We can provide a variety of IP
management strategies.
