In November 2017, CRG will move most of its corporate business offices and labs to a new location in Miamisburg, Ohio, a suburb of Dayton. The new location gives the company room for expansion and facilities better designed for research, manufacturing and business development activities.
Twice a year, Montgomery County government considers applications from local communities for the funds, which are created through sales tax revenue. Among those who will receive funds is the city of Miamisburg on behalf of defense contractor CRG, which is moving from Beavercreek to that city.
Pat Hood, CRG president and founder, said the company’s vision is simple: “We want to build aircraft in the Miami Valley. We are on an uptick, and we have had a solid last couple of years in business.” Besides moving existing jobs, Hood projected that the company could create 35 more new jobs in three to five years.
