One of CRG’s subsidiaries, Advantic, featured its new tradeshow booth this month at the AIA Expo in Chicago. The booth itself is made of Advantic’s syntactic material, demonstrating its strength and versatility as well as its elegant design capabilities. The structure features a curved, cantilevered roof and is lightweight and easy to assemble.

Using a comparison to demonstrate weight savings in civil infrastructure applications, the booth showed how much it would have weighed if made from concrete (1458 lbs) as opposed to Advantic (340 lbs). In addition to its lightweight advantages, Advantic provides a thermal barrier, fulfilling a requirement in new building codes. Read more about Advantic.
